Card Game Maker

A local web app that turns a card game rulebook into a game you can play in the browser. You upload a rulebook, a model running on my own PC reads it, and the app builds a game you can play against AI players or with friends on the same screen. It runs offline and costs nothing to use. Still in progress.

How it works

Extract
The rulebook becomes plain text. PDF, TXT, DOCX, HTML, RTF and Markdown all work, and the text can be edited before generating.
Generate
Qwen3 14B, running through Ollama, reads the rules and writes a JSON description of the game.
Validate
The JSON is checked against a schema and for broken references. Problems go back to the model to fix.
Play-test
The browser plays 24 quick AI-only games to catch crashes and games that never end. If something breaks, the model gets one chance to repair it.
Play
One generic game page can run any valid description, in single-player or same-screen multiplayer.
